One of the top hotels to visit in Barbados is the Fairmont Royal Pavilion, a seriously stylish Bajan sanctuary to relax and unwind, with all the elegance and sophistication of old-world charm. Stunning views over one of the best beaches in Barbados.

Arguably unrivalled facilities, with everything for families with children, little ones and teenagers entertained with treasure hunts and the whole range of watersports, meeting the funny little green monkeys that wander around the grounds or getting close up and personal with the greenback turtles who nest very close by – there are daily swims with the turtles. (note: children under 11 yrs old are only able to stay from mid-March to end of October). Time for parents or for couples; garden tours of the amazing luxurious grounds, the leisurely or invigorating watersports, a fitness centre, a game of tennis, and a concierge who will help and arrange all possibilities on and around the island.

Dining is amazing at the or the Palm restaurant, both very highly regarded on the island. All fish is sourced locally and guests can join the fisherman and catch their own Snapper or King Fish which the chef will then help prepare and cook that evening!

All guest rooms overlook the stunning sparkling Caribbean sea and if staying in a Junior Beachfront Suite, you will be fast-tracked through Customs and Immigration on arrival at the airport, you will have a butler service and complimentary canapés served on your private oceanfront balcony each evening.

And lots more. Call us at Barbados Travel Deals on 0845 6434 606 // 01977 524235 for more information and an exceptional deal to stay at the, Barbados.

There are just 35 lovely suites set in a horseshoe shape around the swimming pool at this Barbados luxury hotel, Treasure Beach. Three deluxe suites have their own private plunge pool. And for plenty of watersports action, this luxury hotel sits on one of the best beaches in Barbados, at the south end of Paynes Bay, right next to Tamarind hotel.

You get to meet the head chef at their restaurant which offers a wide selection of culinary caribbean delights and amazing rum punches at their bar, but you are also only 5 mins drive from Holetown for a big selection of fine dining and eateries and bars.

The standout feature of Treasure Beach is the staff and service, the hospitality is unsurpassed. Being such a small hotel gives a really warm friendly vibe, encouraged by the Manager, Jason, very welcoming and nothing too much trouble.

This is a little ‘treasure’ and well worth a visit. Barbados Travel Deals has great offers to Treasure Beach.

The Sandpiper is one of the most exclusive small hotels in the West Indies. It is owned by the same O’Hara family who own the Coral Reef Club, which is about 10 minutes away due north on the west coast of Barbados.
Coral Reef Club offers some more facilities and there is an exchange dining programme if you’re staying on Half Board. The Sandpiper, whilst child friendly (not the noisy ones), is adult only between 15th January and 15th March and this period gets repeat bookings well ahead of time. For sheer luxury, there are two treetop suites which offer wonderfully spacious, chic and contemporary living.

The Sandpiper hotel sits right in the heart of Holetown so everything is right on your doorstep if you want to get away from the sheer relaxation and hit the new designer shopping centre or dine out.

Book early with Barbados Travel Deals to enjoy the luxury that is The Sandpiper hotel, Barbados.

Just how much of a getaway is Palm Island? My view – just enough. Enough so that you’re a 45 minute flight + 5 minute buggy ride +10 minute motor launch away from the luxury hotels of Barbados. 10 mins motor launch to Union Island where there are some shops and an ATM machine. On Palm Island, phones, TV and internet access is available in the lounge but not promoted. The only ‘busy’ feeling will come from the sea as so many yachts glide by, taking in the amazing Grenadines’ waters and on their way to the Tobago Cays to do a little diving or snorkelling.

Stay at a luxury Barbados hotel such as the Elegant Group’s The House (adults only) for a week and take in as much of the hubbub of Barbados as you’d like, then skip over to Palm Island for complete R & R.

Celtic music at Holders

at Holders House, just up the road (a good steep walk!) from Tamarind, Barbados, where the Celtic festival is to be held.

  • Tamarind view
  • My profile picture on Facebook is one of many photos taken from our balcony at Tamarind and one of the main reasons that we love Tamarind so much. This beach is fabulous, one of our favourite beaches in Barbados and from your balcony in the morning, you can watch the shadows of the palm trees in the water as the sun rises. So utterly peaceful.

Back to talking about my all-time favourite, Tamarind on the beautiful west coast of Barbados following a feature in the Telegraph on Tuesday 8th May. My love for it is – apart from relatively affordable for the West Coast style – the long stretch of beach at the southern end of Paynes Bay. I really do think that this stretch of beach is hard to beat in Barbados and as Tamarind offers complimentary watersports, it makes a beach-lover’s stay amazing. On every stay, we take a small catamaran out (complimentary) and just sail up and down the west coast every day. May sound quite boring to some, but there is always so much going on as you pass Sandy Lane and some of the most prestigious hotels in Barbados.

Not forgetting that Tamarind offers a complimentary water taxi to two of the hotels in the Elegant Group on the west coast; Colony Club and Crystal Cove.

I definitely recommend an Oceanfront room as the beach is so stunning.

I’ve had several requests recently where my Clients have been disappointed as Little Arches has been full. Of course I’ve given other options but there really is nothing quite like this hotel. If the Client has stayed before, they’re even more disappointed – one has changed their dates significantly to be able to stay here. Others are going to different hotels, choosing carefully from the information I’ve given them on a selection of either boutique, adult-only, excellent service, or closer to the local community, all of which can be said of Little Arches.

South coast ie not west coast. So boutique and a little quirky in design and decor. Right at the south end of Enterprise beach, a favourite for locals – we had a family (my husband’s local family) picnic there last visit.

but only ten rooms – that’s why it’s so necessary to book ahead.

Call me at Barbados Travel Deals even if it’s late so I can check on availability at Little Arches Barbados or find you a luxury Barbados Hotel to meet your needs.

Currently there aren’t many South Coast hotels on the Barbados Travel Deals website as the website deals mainly with the 4* and 5* luxury hotels on the west coast. In the South, we display Bougainvillea Barbados as a lovely self-catering option on the South coast and Casuarina as the ideal family All Inclusive haven in St Lawrence Gap. However, we do offer a wide variety of hotels all across the island, even on the East Coast (although this is rare, as far away from most facilities).

In the South, the easy-on-your-wallet Butterfly Beach is a wonderful option for a great base for seeing all of Barbados, sitting on a long stretch of white sands. It is one of many hotels in the laid-back south of the island which offer great value for money and are close to the ever-popular St Lawrence Gap and the fishing village of Oistins for your Friday night street party.

There isn’t a hotel in Barbados that Barbados Travel Deals can’t find a great deal for you so start by searching the website, or simply tell us what you are looking for you and we will match your wants and desires with our Barbados expertise.  So for unbeatable Barbados holidays, contact Barbados Travel Deals.
