One of the top hotels to visit in Barbados is the Fairmont Royal Pavilion, a seriously stylish Bajan sanctuary to relax and unwind, with all the elegance and sophistication of old-world charm. Stunning views over one of the best beaches in Barbados.

Arguably unrivalled facilities, with everything for families with children, little ones and teenagers entertained with treasure hunts and the whole range of watersports, meeting the funny little green monkeys that wander around the grounds or getting close up and personal with the greenback turtles who nest very close by – there are daily swims with the turtles. (note: children under 11 yrs old are only able to stay from mid-March to end of October). Time for parents or for couples; garden tours of the amazing luxurious grounds, the leisurely or invigorating watersports, a fitness centre, a game of tennis, and a concierge who will help and arrange all possibilities on and around the island.

Dining is amazing at the http://www.barbadostraveldeals.co.uk/barbados/hotels/fairmont-royal-pavillion.htmlrestaurant or the Palm restaurant, both very highly regarded on the island. All fish is sourced locally and guests can join the fisherman and catch their own Snapper or King Fish which the chef will then help prepare and cook that evening!

All guest rooms overlook the stunning sparkling Caribbean sea and if staying in a Junior Beachfront Suite, you will be fast-tracked through Customs and Immigration on arrival at the airport, you will have a butler service and complimentary canapés served on your private oceanfront balcony each evening.

And lots more. Call us at Barbados Travel Deals on 0845 6434 606 // 01977 524235 for more information and an exceptional deal to stay at the http://www.barbadostraveldeals.co.uk/barbados/hotels/fairmont-royal-pavillion.html, Barbados.

Although Barbados Travel Deals’ website promotes the most luxurious of the luxury hotels in Barbados, from Sandy Lane 5plus * to Bougainvillea, a wonderful 4* mainly self-catering hotel on the South coast, we still offer fabulous holidays in 3* (and less) accommodation, such as Coconut Court, Butterfly Beach, All Seasons Resort etc. I stayed in many hotels on the South Coast in my early visits and have a great fondness for the South Coast. For such a small island, the vibe is quite different on the West and South Coasts (the Caribbean Sea side) and although the West Coast shouts of affluence and super-luxury, the South Coast has a different charm and still boasts luxury holidays aplenty – Little Arches is a case in point.

Barbados Travel Deals can find you apartments to stay in, to act as a base for you to surf, dive, or simply get to know the island. Talk to us.

I’ve had several requests recently where my Clients have been disappointed as Little Arches has been full. Of course I’ve given other options but there really is nothing quite like this hotel. If the Client has stayed before, they’re even more disappointed – one has changed their dates significantly to be able to stay here. Others are going to different hotels, choosing carefully from the information I’ve given them on a selection of either boutique, adult-only, excellent service, or closer to the local community, all of which can be said of Little Arches.

South coast ie not west coast. So boutique and a little quirky in design and decor. Right at the south end of Enterprise beach, a favourite for locals – we had a family (my husband’s local family) picnic there last visit.

but only ten rooms – that’s why it’s so necessary to book ahead.

Call me at Barbados Travel Deals even if it’s late so I can check on availability at Little Arches Barbados or find you a luxury Barbados Hotel to meet your needs.

If you have even a mild interest in aviation, get away from the beach and watersports for a couple of hours or even just arrive at Grantley Adams airport a little early on your return journey and check your bags in. Then a great way to spend an hour or two is in the hangar holding Concorde! The Barbados Concorde Experience / Concorde museum is a very well put together ‘experience’ with multimedia presentations explaining the history and the involvement of Barbados, interactive displays and most importantly, a chance to walk onto this ‘wow factor’ plane and sit down for the real experience.

We happened to be in Barbados in November 2003 when Concorde retired into Barbados airport. It’s final flight. It wasn’t greatly advertised, we just heard by word of mouth and so drove up to the highest spot on the flight path, where a couple of hundred people were spread about looking into the sky. It was quite amazing as this sleek bird glided onto the island where you almost felt that you needed to duck your head. I have many pics of it.

A sort of sadness that it was its final run.

The Concorde Experience Barbados will probably surprise you. Definitely worth a visit! Browse a wide range of luxury Barbados holidays and Barbados villas, find Barbados deals, Barbados twin centre holidays with Grenadines holidays and much more.

Dining at the 5 star Barbados Hilton at Needham’s point overlooking the wonderful Barbados Carlisle Bay, offers a wide variety of cuisines, all overlooking the beautiful sparkling Caribbean sea. The Hilton Careenage Bar offers drinks and cocktails with live entertainment in a relaxed Barbadian atmosphere, as does The Water’s Edge at the Hilton Barbados, also offering snacks and simpler dining. For fine dining, The Hilton Grille is the place to go and The Lighthouse Terrace for a wide selection at your buffet breakfast or a dinner buffet, often internationally themed.

The Hilton Barbados is one of the only corporate-looking hotels in Barbados and as such, delivers business services like no other but also offers all the facilities that a holidaymaker could need.  The Hilton Barbados Needham’s Point / Hilton Carlisle Bay can be booked through Barbados Travel Deals.  The Hilton Barbados hotel makes a great base for all types of Barbados holidays and Barbados honeymoons.  Enquire about availability in the Hilton Barbados and secure the best Barbados deals with Barbados Travel Deals.

Turtle Beach Barbados is one of the group of ‘Elegant’ hotels that I often speak of – The House Barbados, Tamarind, Colony Club and Crystal Cove. Turtle Beach differs from its sister hotels in that it is on the popular South Coast of Barbados and is All Inclusive like Crystal Cove. It gets its name from the nesting of the delightful sea turtles at the site on the expansive white sand beach.

Turtle Beach  rooms are suites, 161 of them of varying shapes and sizes,  so a little larger than most of the hotels on Barbados Travel Deals, but allowing in its six acres of landscaped tropical gardens, for all the facilities that a good Barbados All Inclusive hotel requires! A great kids club for kids from 3yrs to 11yrs open daily from 9am to 9pm – what every kid and Mum and Dad need! …and plenty of diverse complimentary water sports from that beautiful beach!

Turtle Beach is only 15 minutes from Barbados airport and 10 minutes from Bridgetown with a complimentary daily shuttle.  St Lawrence Gap is within walking distance offering nightlife and also fun for everyone with restaurants, bars and roadside stalls with food and gifts.

For great Barbados holidays, and specifically a great all inclusive holiday in Barbados, Turtle Beach will hit the right note.  You can read more about Turtle Beach and see Turtle Beach photos.  Call us for current availability and the best Barbados deals on all Barbados holidays.

For horse racing enthusiasts, horseracing is taken seriously in Barbados and is mainly held at the Garrison Savannah which is close to Bridgetown Barbados. The Garrison Savannah is named from back in colonial days (1845) when British Regiment Officers were stationed there. For horseracing fans, watch from inside the Garrison Savannah grounds in the Grandstand, Sir John Chandler Stand or the Field Stand.

But at the main events, people like me and local families who aren’t really into the racing like to picnic around the perimeter of the track where the trees provide shade.

Vendors line the area so there are plenty of local traditional dishes to try. Try the fried fish or chicken stew with rice! You can sample the Mount Gay rum or drink the coconut water direct from the coconut.

Ask us at Barbados Travel Deals for the main horseracing events dates that are taking place around the dates you’d like to travel. 2nd May is the Gold Cup in Barbados.  Barbados holidays make a great opportunity to watch horse racing in Barbados and can make a fun day out for all the family.
