Although debatable, when a Client asks me for somewhere a bit ‘different’ in Barbados, I almost always go straight for Little Arches and Little Good Harbour. Two very different properties with the former being in the South, close to St Lawrence Gap and all it’s fun life in the evenings and particularly close to Oistins for the friday night street party and wonderful fish fry, bringing locals and tourists from all over the island. The latter, Little Good Harbour is on the west coast but north of the ‘West Coast strip’ of hotels, closer to Speightstown, a charming little non-touristy, almost run-down looking town (look for the charming as there’s plenty to find). Little Good Harbour has the famous Fishpot restaurant and it’s fishing village offers it’s own Friday fish fry. The only potential downside to Little Good Harbour is that it’s easier to get out and about with a car – hence the real hideaway feeling.

Call us at Barbados Travel Deals to chat about it as there is still public transport – and obviously taxis – that can take you into the more populated areas if you wanted. An escape from Barbados glitz right in Barbados!

Although Barbados Travel Deals’ website promotes the most luxurious of the luxury hotels in Barbados, from Sandy Lane 5plus * to Bougainvillea, a wonderful 4* mainly self-catering hotel on the South coast, we still offer fabulous holidays in 3* (and less) accommodation, such as Coconut Court, Butterfly Beach, All Seasons Resort etc. I stayed in many hotels on the South Coast in my early visits and have a great fondness for the South Coast. For such a small island, the vibe is quite different on the West and South Coasts (the Caribbean Sea side) and although the West Coast shouts of affluence and super-luxury, the South Coast has a different charm and still boasts luxury holidays aplenty – Little Arches is a case in point.

Barbados Travel Deals can find you apartments to stay in, to act as a base for you to surf, dive, or simply get to know the island. Talk to us.

I’ve had several requests recently where my Clients have been disappointed as Little Arches has been full. Of course I’ve given other options but there really is nothing quite like this hotel. If the Client has stayed before, they’re even more disappointed – one has changed their dates significantly to be able to stay here. Others are going to different hotels, choosing carefully from the information I’ve given them on a selection of either boutique, adult-only, excellent service, or closer to the local community, all of which can be said of Little Arches.

South coast ie not west coast. So boutique and a little quirky in design and decor. Right at the south end of Enterprise beach, a favourite for locals – we had a family (my husband’s local family) picnic there last visit.

but only ten rooms – that’s why it’s so necessary to book ahead.

Call me at Barbados Travel Deals even if it’s late so I can check on availability at Little Arches Barbados or find you a luxury Barbados Hotel to meet your needs.

At the lovely Little Arches hotel on the south coast of Barbados, is Cafe Luna, its signature restaurant on the rooftop.

The Little Arches Barbados Café Luna is Al Fresco dining at its best. Award-winning and internationally acclaimed dining specialising in Pan-tropical food – fusion of Caribbean, Asian and Mediterranean flavours.

The view over Dover beach from Café Luna is stunning, making this a meeting area for those early evening cocktails whilst watching the often spectacular sunsets.

It’s always best to make an advance reservation for Café Luna, even if you are residing in the Little Arches hotel – so should you decide to stay at the Little Arches hotel for your Barbados holidays, be sure to subsequently make your table reservation – amazing sushi specials on Thursdays and Fridays!

If you don’t stay at the Little Arches hotel, go for a meal anyway and check out the special Barbados boutique hotel that is Little Arches Barbados.

You can read more about the Little Arches Barbados on our website where you can also view a selection of photos.  Please call for an informal chat and to request up to the minute prices and availability for the Little Arches hotel and other luxury Barbados hotels and Barbados villas.
