With only 64 rooms, Spice Island Beach Resort on the beautiful spice island of Grenada, welcome you into their ‘family’ on your luxury Caribbean holiday. This glorious hotel sits on the stunning Grand Anse beach offering a grand expanse of beach walking over more than two miles, and is built on the beachfront, different to most Grenada hotels which make the most of the mountains and thus often require strong climbing legs.

On one side of the beach from Spice Island Beach Resort, you’ll find the 80 room rustically charming Coyaba hotel, and on the other, the more contemporary Mount Cinnamon hotel with it’s Beach Cabana for snacks and drinks. As in Barbados, if you’re up early enough, you can share the beach and sea with the locals getting their early morning exercise.

Talk to us at Barbados Travel Deals for more information on Grenada hotels and resorts and maybe even consider a twin centre luxury holiday with Barbados or with a Grenadine island.

Although Barbados Travel Deals’ website promotes the most luxurious of the luxury hotels in Barbados, from Sandy Lane 5plus * to Bougainvillea, a wonderful 4* mainly self-catering hotel on the South coast, we still offer fabulous holidays in 3* (and less) accommodation, such as Coconut Court, Butterfly Beach, All Seasons Resort etc. I stayed in many hotels on the South Coast in my early visits and have a great fondness for the South Coast. For such a small island, the vibe is quite different on the West and South Coasts (the Caribbean Sea side) and although the West Coast shouts of affluence and super-luxury, the South Coast has a different charm and still boasts luxury holidays aplenty – Little Arches is a case in point.

Barbados Travel Deals can find you apartments to stay in, to act as a base for you to surf, dive, or simply get to know the island. Talk to us.

There are just 35 lovely suites set in a horseshoe shape around the swimming pool at this Barbados luxury hotel, Treasure Beach. Three deluxe suites have their own private plunge pool. And for plenty of watersports action, this luxury hotel sits on one of the best beaches in Barbados, at the south end of Paynes Bay, right next to Tamarind hotel.

You get to meet the head chef at their restaurant which offers a wide selection of culinary caribbean delights and amazing rum punches at their bar, but you are also only 5 mins drive from Holetown for a big selection of fine dining and eateries and bars.

The standout feature of Treasure Beach is the staff and service, the hospitality is unsurpassed. Being such a small hotel gives a really warm friendly vibe, encouraged by the Manager, Jason, very welcoming and nothing too much trouble.

This is a little ‘treasure’ and well worth a visit. Barbados Travel Deals has great offers to Treasure Beach.

The Fairmont Royal Pavilion is one of Barbados’s elite 5* hotels, placed on a wonderful half mile of beach on the platinum West Coast of Barbados. With just 48 Oceanfront Deluxe rooms, all interconnecting and 24 Suites, the accommodation is spacious and mostly with spectacular ocean views.

Dining at the Fairmont is special; Taboras Restaurant is a Bajan al-fresco beach place, offering mouth-watering lunches by the ocean and the Royal Pavilion also offers 24/7 in-room dining - spoil yourselves! Or take a short walk along the beach and you’ll find Ju Ju’s beach bar for a great lunch. And the Ramshackle beach bar – if you’re here when they have their Barbecue on the beach (once a month), it’s well worth a visit or for their Full Moon parties! Next door to JuJu’s is the Lone Star, from simple food to fine dining, all in that fabulous beach setting.

More about the Fairmont Royal Pavilion later. If you’re interested, call Barbados Travel Deals and get more information and check availability and great offers!

Elegant Hotels, the company which owns five hotel properties on Barbados, is considering the addition of a further property on the beautiful island and to further expand onto other Caribbean islands, such as St. Lucia and Antigua.

With the All Inclusive Turtle Beach on the South Coast, perfect for family havens, then Crystal Cove, The House, Tamarind and Colony Club on the platinum West Coast, all 4* or 5* recommended hotels. Crystal Cove is also All Inclusive, and The House is for adults only and next door – with Daphne’s restaurant in between – to the livelier Tamarind on that wonderful stretch of beach.

For me, the Elegant Group have got it right. Their properties are lovely with a continual refurbishing programme, they offer service excellence and their visitors return year after year, hence them wanting to offer other islands and thus becoming a Caribbean hotel company.

The Sandpiper is one of the most exclusive small hotels in the West Indies. It is owned by the same O’Hara family who own the Coral Reef Club, which is about 10 minutes away due north on the west coast of Barbados.
Coral Reef Club offers some more facilities and there is an exchange dining programme if you’re staying on Half Board. The Sandpiper, whilst child friendly (not the noisy ones), is adult only between 15th January and 15th March and this period gets repeat bookings well ahead of time. For sheer luxury, there are two treetop suites which offer wonderfully spacious, chic and contemporary living.

The Sandpiper hotel sits right in the heart of Holetown so everything is right on your doorstep if you want to get away from the sheer relaxation and hit the new designer shopping centre or dine out.

Book early with Barbados Travel Deals to enjoy the luxury that is The Sandpiper hotel, Barbados.

Just how much of a getaway is Palm Island? My view – just enough. Enough so that you’re a 45 minute flight + 5 minute buggy ride +10 minute motor launch away from the luxury hotels of Barbados. 10 mins motor launch to Union Island where there are some shops and an ATM machine. On Palm Island, phones, TV and internet access is available in the lounge but not promoted. The only ‘busy’ feeling will come from the sea as so many yachts glide by, taking in the amazing Grenadines’ waters and on their way to the Tobago Cays to do a little diving or snorkelling.

Stay at a luxury Barbados hotel such as the Elegant Group’s The House (adults only) for a week and take in as much of the hubbub of Barbados as you’d like, then skip over to Palm Island for complete R & R.
