Mustique is special, very special. Mustique and Mustique holidays have long been an idyllic treat for the rich and famous. Back in the 60’s, Princess Margaret and Mick Jagger (not together – as far as I know) were both often linked to the island paradise of Mustique, and now, just last month, the chosen destination for a holiday villa for the Middletons and William and Kate.

Putting aside the controversy where other tourists had limitations put on their own freedom of the island due to the extra security needed for the royal guests, staying at Aurora House on Mustique; even with the limitations, this island of Mustique is still a heaven.

A very short connecting flight from Barbados (direct from London daily) will have you on your luxury Mustique holidays in no time.

Barbados Travel Deals and Luxury Villas Worldwide offer villas in Mustique and other beautiful Grenadines Islands. If you can’t see the Mustique villa / Grenadines villa / Barbados villa you’d like, just give us some details of your luxury holiday requirements by email or phone and we’ll look for your perfect luxury holiday villa.

Luxury Mustique holidays, brought to you by Barbados Travel Deals and Luxury Villas Worldwide.

I was asked about the beach at Crystal Cove yesterday as my client had heard varying stories about Crystal Cove Beach and the beaches in Barbados. There is some confusion regarding the west coast Barbados beaches and the erosion particularly in the northern areas. Crystal Cove is on a wonderful stretch of beach at the end of Fitts Village beach and about a mile from Paynes Bay - one of my favourites. Walking to the right (northwards), you are on a fabulous stretch of deserted Barbados beach all the way to The Cliff restaurant Barbados.

Crystal Cove doesn’t have a hotel close on either side so gives it a much more open feeling on the beachfront. With its recent uplift to all rooms and general areas, The Crystal Cove hotel is a great choice for the rare Barbados All Inclusive hotel.

Don’t forget, as Crystal Cove is one of the Elegant Group of hotels, you have complimentary water taxis to the other west coast Elegant Group hotels; Colony Club, Tamarind (formerly Tamarind Cove) and The House Barbados.  A great choice!  Book all these luxury Barbados hotels and more at the best luxury Barbados holidays website.

St Nicholas Abbey on Cherry Tree Hill in the parish of St Peter in Barbados, is one of Barbados’s – in my view – best afternoon trips.

The St Nicholas ‘abbey’ is actually a beautiful Barbados Colonial Plantation house and rum distillery with a lovely, lovely cafe. Well worth a visit on a day out over to the East Coast of Barbados.

On 10th March 2012, the St Nicholas Abbey is holding a Gourmet Buffet Moonlight Dinner in the Abbey’s fabulous grounds. A magical setting!

Admission is Bds $260.00 all inclusive except for champagne and runs from 19.00 to midnight.

Call St Nicholas Abbey locally on 422-8725 for tickets for a very special occasion.
